Love the fact that the train stops at Wandong, but the town always seems to be a bit of a mixed bag. The Healthcote Junction-side is great, but parts of Wandong still seem a little rough, with quite a few 'truck drivers' and the odd 'bikey' revving their engine too much.

The new houses on this corridor should help improve matters though.

Wallan is a mix of old and new builds. Not the prettiest of towns, with Heathcote Junction, Kilmore and Broadford being more attractive towns. However, if you want a suburban life on a decent-sized block, Wallan could be for you.

The town appears to be thriving, with residents and businesses setting up home. All we need now is a nice vineyard and a better IGA.

I cannot imagine wanting to live anywhere else.

Melbourne CBD is a great place to work and visit. I'm not sure about living in the centre of the city though, as the quality of the housing stock, including the countless new apartment blacks is too low to offer great value for money.

The State government should instead place more emphasis on increasing the ease at which you can commute in and out of 'The Worlds Most Liveable City'.
