St Kilda
"Best of Both Worlds"
St Kilda has had a tough time this past 2 years. It’s seen a decline in its vibrancy due to a lack of backpackers and tourism. That said, it is still a fantastic area to live, between bayside beach life and the bustling area of Acland street. Further east, Carlisle street has an amazing mixture of tasty bakeries, cafes, discount stores and bars. Alma park makes it very easy to have a dog, too - ours love it!

It has been a interesting few years but the Council has done a lot of investment to the main Acland Street and Fitzroy street precincts. I was out and about in St Kilda last night and went to an Open Mike night at Iddy Ibby on Mitford street and it felt like St Kilda is back to its old and wonderful ways!
