Maroubra
"Great Eastern Suburb"
Maroubra is located 10 km South of the Sydney CBD, part of the Eastern Suburbs region. It is 15-20 minutes to the CBD in non peak hour. It is a very safe and convenient suburb. Very close to the beach, Eastgardens shopping centre, Bondi, UNSW, Coogee and CBD. I have lived in Maroubra all my life and love it!
Great for

- Close to Everything
- Good Public Transport
Not great for
- Housing commission located in the southern end of the suburb
- Some houses close to the beach are expensive
