Do Schools Influence House Prices

They certainly do! Most parents do everything they can for their children and it's natural that they want to see them get a good education. In the Menai District we are lucky to have a wide choice of schooling in both primary & secondary levels and yes most parents I talk to think the school their kids are attending is the best one, subsequently if they think it is the best school for their child it follows they will want to live in close proximity to it and probably be prepared to pay more than they would elsewhere. The best school for them is all that is required but if you would like to do some homework go to the My School web site http://www.myschool.edu.au/ to see the NAPLAN results. It's very interesting reading and to my eye displays there is no correlation to results verses quarterly school fees.
