Reviews of Banora Point, NSW
"Beautiful Banora Point, a lovely place to live"
Banora is a lovely place for families to live. There is a choice of schools, private and NSW Ed department and all have good reputations. Close by is Southern Cross university, which offers a good range of courses There are TAFE campuses in Kingscliff and Coolangatta.
Banora has a two supermarkets Coles and BiLo, a medical centre and numerous speciality stores. Newly renovated and extended Tweed City shopping centre has all major stores, movie theatres, banks and a large food court.
Banora point is a short drive from Kingscliff where you can indulge in great coffee or enjoy beautiful beaches. It is a short ten minute drive into Coolangatta which has even better beaches, restaurants and shopping. Our family has lived in Banora for ten years and love it.

"I'm feeling sorry for my old mate who lives here."
My mate has a great house, though in Brit terms I'd call it a bungalow with a great view; its on acres of land with loads of sheds.
He's a farmer and misses his land and stock and this outer urban living is not suiting him.
When I visit its like the lost souls who live round here, secure on their expensive acreage, just wishing they were somewhere else. No amount of money and a good view can make up for being in the wrong place. You might look out over Tweed Heads and the lower Gold Coast and feel smug but you'd all be better living in Brisbane or Sydney - no matter how many BMWs and AUDIs you've got in the sweep round drive.

@robt13, Spot on the money!!! I love how those who have nothing to offer in life, speak on behalf of someone else that we cannot verify is actually real, in a negative light while offering absolutely zero info on a residential area that has very few acreage properties on a suburb review website. Nevertheless, Banora Point is a lovely place to live. Nice people, decent amenities, and close to everything.
"Banora Point is in NSW NOT QLD!!!"
Since when has Banora Point been in QLD? Banora Point is actually located in the state of NSW just south-west of Tweed Heads on the NSW side of the NSW/QLD border.
The integrity of this site is jeopardised by such a stupid mistake. Although I am pleased that SOME streets in Banora Point mentioned on this site DO have NSW after them.

Great place for a relaxed lifestyle, with amazing beaches, shops, alfresco dining, schools and short distance to the Gold Coast, Byron Bay and commutable distance to Brisbane. Perfect area for retirees with plenty of clubs, shops, and hospitals close by. Could not be a better place for families with excellent education, a great sense of community and plenty of parklands, reserves (including Mount Warning), and play areas (both coastal and parklands). One of the best median temperatures all year round. If you are thinking of selling, buying or renting I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi, do you know of any pet friendly rentals in the area. My son and I are about to be homeless in 2 weeks as the owner of our home of 6 years wants there very pregnant daughter to move in. We have an old rescue dog who has heart and lung issues so he faints alot and does nothing. We are in pottsville but it is way out of our price range now plus my parents live in Banora Point and need a bit more help. Any help would be so much appreciated. Kimberley
Spoken like a true jealous clown. So, you do not live there, your "friend" does. He moved there and is by the sounds of it, very well-off. He misses the land and stock and made a mistake (according to you) by moving there. Then you suggest Sydney or Brisbane instead of Banora Point. Both have no farms due to them being CBD's. Something tells me that you are a self-proclaimed "educated" individual when it comes to all things environmental and Covid related. I do wish you all the very best in your lonely, bitter and poor life. Although, I am sure you would have us all believe otherwise. Sorry, not going to work! You let the cat out of the bag with your original comment.
