Bettowynd Road, Pymble, NSW 2073

Sitting on my verandah all I see is green and flowers. Beyond my back fence is Bannockburn Oval and the Blue Gum forest in the distance. No buildings can be seen. The King Parrots and Rainbow Lorikeets are in the Camelia trees. It's like I'm living in the country. Out the front the wide grassy verges on the street remind me of Leura in the Blue Mountains. But Bettowynd Road is in the centre of Pymble with15 minute walk to the train and 5 minute walk to three primary schools. We have lived here for 30 years. We don't need a car to get to work. The kids walked to school and to sport and now they are grown they can easily get to uni. I wasn't the family taxi service. When we bought in the street all those years ago we deliberated over the extra cost to live in this premium location. Over 30 years our investment in lifestyle has been well worth it.
