Reviews of Bli Bli, QLD
"Not for us"
We looked, and wanted to like Bli Bli, but the prices now seem almost at Buderim levels and we just didn’t see the same tropical, established and community feel that we found in Buderim. Everything felt quite ‘new’ which may appeal to some, but we preferred the character and charm we found elsewhere.
"Relatives tried here but ended up moving"
Unfortunately our friends moved here and had lots of trouble with ‘goons’ on their street and also break ins in the area. They were in one of those nicer looking new parts too. Perhaps it’s still developing. We stayed the night and we heard the cars flying around.
"A little bit ‘far’"
We tried to like Bli Bli but it just seemed a little bit far from both the surf and the better schools on the coast. The houses were actually more expensive than we were anticipating, so ended up buying in Buderim and we are definitely glad we did as it feels more established and less of an estate feel with all the new housing. Still, I’m sure Bli Bli would suit some.
"Family Friendly and Fun"
Lovely family area with great schools, lovely parks and walkways. Well located within and easy drive to beaches and shopping.

"Fast growing suburb central to all amenities"
Becoming a very popular area with great School's and shops. New housing estate and boutique pockets, great atmosphere and quality living. Short drive to boat ramp and beautiful beaches. House prices are rising very quickly here. Has some really nice homes and parklands. Highly recommend for families.

"Great central Sunshine Coast location"
Bli Bli is a developing area. It's a really convenient and central location purched between both the Sunshine Motorway and the Bruce Highway and you can travel through Yandina to get to places like Eumundi Markets. Its about 35mins from Noosa , 10 mins to Mudjimba beach and about 15mins to any other place you want to get.. You have multiple options to get to Maroochydore... Fishermans Rd, Sunshine Motorway. You are 7 mins from airport without being directly in the flight path.

"Great location. So close to everything without the hussle and bustle."
On the Maroochy River with heaps of options for water sports. Jetskis, fishing or just cruising up the river. Progressing very nicely with the commencement of a 27 hole golf course and the shops soon to be demolished and rebuilt giving a trendy edge. Only minutes to Maroochydore which is soon to become the Central business hub of the coast. Love it!

"Lets go fishing"
Bli Bli is a lovely spot close to the river. It's a great spot for those who love to take the boat out and go for a fish. Has schools, shopping, and is the home of Bli Bli castle. Is close to beaches and is only a short drive to Maroochydore.
One does have to be mindful of the areas that have trouble with sandflies, but overall it's a beautiful spot, that has some affordable homes.
Ski N Skurf cable water ski Park is located in Bli Bli.

"What a great place to call home"
I accidently ran accross the Parklakes Bli Bli estate while on hols from Sydney. What a refreshing place to visit . Only 10 mins to the beach or 15 min to my favourite Mooloolaba Beach. Shops and schools close by. Lots of natural walkways and lakes. Feels like were way out in the country. My wife and i actually purchased a property from Glen at the Parklakes sales office. What a professional attitude and no pressure sales person. Cant wait to move up once the home is built

Your onto it Jamj... This site is so badly affected by agents, its a real shame. THey don't even try very hard anymore at hiding it!
"Very much a residential area, Bli Bli relies on Maroochydore for most services."
Situated on the northern side of the Maroochy River, Bli Bli is very much a residential area, mainly for young families and retirees. Generally speaking the standard of housing is cheaper, not nasty, but the basic 3brm home as opposed to large 4 or 5 brm homes. This is what has allowed the younger families to buy here for their first homes. In saying all that, there are new estates being opened up at the back of Bli Bli now and in these estates it is expected that there will be more expensive housing built because of the covenants in the estates.
It is only a 10 min drive into Maroochydore where all facilities are available and a modern shopping centre of very higher standard. Bli Bli is inland a little and even though it is on the northern side of the river, most of the housing is not actually near the river.
A small local shopping centre services the area very well for everyday needs.

Hey Im interested in finding out what parts of Bli Bli would be more prone to sandlfies and mozzies like youve mentioned. Even just a street to base my search around. Thanks.
