Is there a problem with gossiping and nosey neighbours in Bowral/Mittagong area?
Currently living in Tasmania (Hobart area) where there is much gossiping and lack of privacy because people can't mind their own business. I can't wait to move back to the mainland. Is this a problem in Bowral or Mittagong? I lived in Mittagong and then Burradoo in the late 70's/early 80's and don't remember it being a problem.

We've been here for 27 yrs and I don't think people are all that nosey. Now that Bowral is probably a bit bigger than what you remember it's probably not an issue like in a smaller community. Traffic is getting worse. You now can't park outside the shop you want to go to, you now sometimes have to walk 200m. Not the rat hole that Sydney traffic has become. Still small enough to get to know people in the community. Good luck and good wishes. Ted
