Reviews of Chatswood West, NSW
"Added convenience of Chatswood in propinquity"
Not quite comprehending how this suburb is ranked lower than suburbs such as Blacktown and Lidcombe, because it is highly convenient with a supreme abundance of amenities in Chatswood and this is achieved in tandem with Macquarie University, Macquarie Centre, Macquarie Hospital merely to enumerate a few nearby. The river scenery may not be overly spectacular, but I scarcely see much purpose to complain as you additionally have leafy surroundings. After all, I don't think you can find many places easily accessible from the city, and near numerous amenities as well as having breathtaking views in Sydney, aside from perhaps Double Bay.

"Nice suburb"
Nice and leafy, walking distance to Chatswood and a really nice bushwalk Ferndale park. I really enjoyed living here and the conveniences to Chatswood. I would prefer it to Chatswood because it is so much more quiet. Fullers Rd always busy.

"Quiet and Leafy"
In contrast to the hustle and bustle of downtown Chatswood, most of Chatswood West is quiet, leafy and family friendly. Following the natural landscape, it slopes from the ridge along which the Pacific Highway is built, down to the Lane Cove River valley, which is hugged by the National Park of the same name. The busy Fullers Road is perhaps the only blot on the landscape, with area having a mixture of high, medium and low density homes. Chatswood High School, Chatswood Public School, lots of parks and easy access to the train station and busses make it an ideal family home location.
