Do you recommend any good caterers?

I've had good luck before with Davis Catering. Davis Catering operates the Cincinnati Club, a special event hall, on Garfield Place. Davis Catering will also provide catering at your location. A really interesting catering option, and while I've never had it a friend of mine has and totally raved about it, is Paella At Your Place. For get togethers with ten or more of your friends, you can order Paella At Your Place and they will come to your home (or venue) cook the food and serve it buffet style.

There are many places in Cincinnati that offer catering from restaurants to catering companies. If you are hosting an event at a local venue, you may be limited in choice as to the catering company you use, because some facilities have contracts with certain caterers. However, if you are looking for catering for a special occasion at your home, you have many local choices. Some of the larger catering companies are Chef's Choice (a division of the Kroger Company), Vonderhaar Catering, and Hilvers Catering. All of these companies are decent, but from my event planning days, the best caterer I used was Creations by Melody in Madeira. Melody and her husband operate the catering business and provide extremely tasty food and excellent customer service.
