Hot and humid...especially the humid part. As they saying goes "it's not the heat, it's the humidity." Nowhere else will you feel that more than in Cincinnati come July or August.

Summers in Cincinnati tend to be hot and dry or hot and stormy. June usually starts off cooler, but in recent years it has been quite warm starting in May. July and August are very hot months with frequent temperatures in the mid- to upper 90s. The air tends to be very heavy and humid. This year we are having drought-like conditions, but pop-up thunderstorms can still occur. The unstable, hot and humid, air tends to create the right atmosphere for thunderstorms to occur and we often have these in later summer. The hot weather often continues well into September. The humidity is the worst part of the summer as that makes the temperature feel much hotter than it is and it is very unpleasant to step outside your door and immediately start sweating.
