Reviews of Eden Hill, WA
"Water outages ALL THE TIME,WHY?"
Moved to Eden hill for 4 months,
Already experienced 4 times water outages as I’m aware,I feel I’m living in somewhere out space,or i didn’t pay my water bills??
is ridiculous especially when you have young baby and you family busy whole day when we need the water the most.sad.
"We are settling here!"
We had moved from South to West, North and East of Perth and so far we are really enjoying living in Eden Hill. The neighbours have been really amazing and we could even hear kukubara laughing frequently.
Coles and couple of deli shops are within walking distance. Swan valley is 7 minutes away and couple of amazing cafes are also popping up these days. Morley Galleria and Benarq fresh are also close by.

"Great suburb, close to the swan valley, good primary school, amazing value only 11kms to the city"
We have lived in Eden Hill since 2013 and love it here, we originally looked at Bassendean, Guildford and Bayswater but ended up buying in Eden Hill for 100k cheaper! So close to the Swan Valley, I can walk to the train station at Bassendean for the city, the local primary school is very good. The value here is fantastic compared other suburbs with a similar proximity to the city.

"Just returned home to beautiful eden hill"
Nothing like 10 years living in Sydney to put our beautiful little suburb in Eden Hill in persective. Amenities galore, parks, drop into the Swan Valley literally up Benara Rd, and plenty of great affordable grocery shopping (Beechboro coles a goody - dont bother with galleria woolies). We bought 10 years ago thinking the suburb might pick up, it has slowly but surprised not more young families have found this secret little suburb yet. There is a fantastic mix of old little cottages, 1950s brick and tile (which we bought) and newer builds. Its very green the bird life is just amazing, lots of black cockatoos and the likes! We are a young family of 5 and are looking foward to doing up our 50s brick and tile and watching our kids grow up here.

"Mostly good"
I have lived in Eden Hill for nearly 16 years, the first house was between Northmoor and Wicks Street while the house we are in now is on the other side just off a street off Jubilee Oval. In the first house we were broken into, as yet nothing in this house. It is a lovely fairly quiet suburb but there do seem to be a lot of tenanted houses and State west housing on our current street. In terms of location it is a hidden gem, fairly close to the river, Perth city, Swan Valley and lots of shopping in Morley.

"New to the suburb - Love it!"
My partner and I just bought a house in Eden Hill. Like other reviewers have mentioned, we loved the big blocks of land, the "greenery" of the area and the general laid back attitude. It is about 15 minutes from Perth City, 7 minutes from Mt Lawley and 4 minutes from the Galleria. It has a few basic shops in the area - such as IGA, Kiara food hall, a petrol station and a medical centre. Although there are a few homeswest houses these are generally more towards the Lockridge side of Eden Hill so your best looking around where Jubillee Reserve is. I also think house prices in the area are quite low and are likely to increase considerably in 10+ years given the location and the fact more families are buying into the area.
Great for
- Close to Mt Lawley and Perth City
- Clean and green area
- Nice big parks
Not great for
- Lack of public transport
- No major shops (woolies) in the area

"Loving Eden Hill"
Moved to Eden Hill about 6 months ago, best decision - loving it. We moved here for the large block sizes and because it seemed like a nice quiet neighbourhood with plenty of families. We live in a gorgeous little pocket of Eden Hill, in a house that is only 11 years old. We love the extra space we have with a 718sqm block. The suburb is so well established with so many beautiful trees and parks around. The location is excellent, only 5 mins to Morley shops, close to Bayswater, Bassendean not far from Midland & Swan Valley...it's such a great little spot. The best part about it....peace and quiet!!! It's so incredibly peaceful, lots of birds chirping, also people like to look after their gardens. A great place for us to raise 2 little kids.
I'm not certain about the public schools in Eden Hill itself, however my child goes to Hampton Park Primary in Morley which is still very close, just near Tonkin Hwy. We were previously here before moving down the road to Eden Hill so just stayed at the same school. Hampton Park is an excellent school, so happy there can not fault it.
"Little slice of paradise"
Nestled between the city and the Swan valley, close to shops, schools, lots of parks - Eden Hill really is a hidden gem. Bought here a little over 18months ago and its the best decision I've ever made. The blocks are large, there are so many parks, the neighbourhood is peaceful and the neighbours are lovely. Would definitely recommend this area!

"A Fantastic Family Suburb, close to the city, close to the Swan Valley, close to Amenities!!!!"
We have lived in Eden Hill for 10 years and we love it. We live in a loveley street, walking distance to 3 primary schools and a high school. Just 3 minutes walk to public transport. We have a big house on a big block and have watched with interest the incerasing value of our property in this suburb. Just 15 minutes drive to the city and Swan Valley, what used to be the poor neighbour of Bassendean and Morley is coming into it's own. We live in Naunton Crescent, argueably one of the best streets in Eden Hill. Welcome All, something for everyone!!
