Best vegetarian food in Melbourne in North Fitzroy?

I'm not a vegetarian myself, but one of my friends is, so maybe I'm not the best judge of what good vegetarian food is BUT I went to this small little place on Swanston Street called Gopal's Vegetarian Restaurant. I thought it was pretty nice. If you are in the city and looking for a good feed, then here are the details:

Community Man - I would have to agree with you regarding the Moroccan Soup on St George's Road but have you tried the Vegie Bar at 380 Brunswick St, Fitzroy?
Vegie bar is ok, but its big and you feel rushed in there!
Hands down best veggie fare in Nth Fitzroy is Moroccan soup bar. If you order 'the banquet' $19.50 pp make sure you're hungry. SO MUCH delicious cous cous, veggie bakes, stews & dahl. If you're ordering takeaway BYO your own containers to get a discount.
For something a bit different try Madame K's Thai & Asian vegetarian food. They have delicious currys & banana tempura. YUM!
A bit further south to Fitzroy I also like Veggie Bar & Trippy Taco.
Vegie bar is the BEST!
