It is set on the second row so doesn't get the sea breeze and associated salt spray of a front row block, but is positioned so a two story house or a raised entertaining area could still get the sea views and magnificent sunsets that are a feature of this region.
Eba Anchorage is set in Streaky Bay and is a small community with only around thirty full time residents. The rest of the fifty odd blocks are holiday homes or still unestablished. There are two islands in front of the settlement and the largest which is Eba Island(Kiffin Island on google maps) can be explored by foot at low tide. It was once farming land and has old ruins but both islands are now reserves.
There is plenty of birdlife around including the White Bellied Sea Eagle.
Two beaches are within 500 metres including the well known Perlubie Beach where a new years fun day is held. They are both ideal for walking and the water is shallow out to the weed line so you can relax and cool off on a hot day. At low tide you can cast into the deeper water and catch King George Whiting and other species.
The block itself has an 18x6m shed with three roller doors on the north side of the block providing storage and privacy from the only established neighbour. Two 22500 litre water tanks are connected to the shed providing plenty of water.
Shopping and medical services are available at both Streaky Bay and Ceduna which are 18km and 90km respectively. It is three hours drive to Port Lincoln and seven to Adelaide.
Eba Anchorage is a stand alone village and only has solar and rainwater. You could call it a little solar city. Sewage is by septic tank. There is weekly rubbish collection.
