Eco Cabin Stretton 5409 at Couran Cove South Stradbroke Island on the Gold Coast .
The resort itself is closed and in the hands of administrators. This is a freehold privately owned property situated in a bushland setting behind the resort, but in the Couran Cove Resort precinct. The resort is unlikely to reopen any time soon.

No power or water is currently connected to the cabin there is gas for the stove and heater and a solar hot water system on the roof, as such new owners would require to set the cabin up off the grid. The installation of power and water would enable either permanent or weekend residency, some owners have already done this.

For permanent occupancy some owners are going with a full solar/battery/generator solution integrated into the cabin and professionally installed at an approx cost of $20,000.
