No. NHW is undergoing a serious decline due to a reduction in Govt funding, a decline in volunteers for NHW, and an increasing perception that NHW is not as effective as it could be, due to increased social network communications.
The W.A. Police still support NHW - but volunteers need to step forward to organise NHW for their suburb - and they are not stepping forward as much as they used to.
Crimestoppers is still the best crime-solving network - and there is a Facebook page where people report crimes as they uncover them.

Thanks for the info onetrack - I don't hear much about it these days where I live and I wondered if it was still going or not.
