Hi I am buying place in Lalor park please someone tell me how safe it is

I have found that the government is letting the tenants buy their Homes because of good history with the home; as well they are knocking down a lot of the people and moving them to other areas. I saying all that I believe the area is improving in safety and the prices have jumped in the last 12 months which I think reflects my view of that is happening there.
