Why would you buy Timber over Full brick?
I find it very strange that timber homes are still popular amongst the un-initiated!!!!
The maintanance cocts on these houses is more than double of any other home, constant high pressure water cleaning, painting, mould etc?Do buyers not know this or are they just uninformed? When looking at Timber/weatherboard houses they are always freshly painted and spruced up and when you look at other houses like them they are always run down, that begs the question? Why would anyone buy a timber home above a full brick property?
REALLY STRANGE???????????????

Full brick is always a more structurally savvy option that also attracts a higher price simply out of its build cost and long term durability. Weatherboard properties sometime have that character appeal but you are right, ongoing maintenance is the downfall. It may be a cost positioning for that buyer or a style and design they prefer.
