Reviews of Allenby Gardens, SA
"Lovely tree-lined streets with character homes"
Allenby Gardens is close to the city and the beach. Easily accessible walking/bike trail along the Torrens which takes you All the way to the city or the beach. Exciting things are starting to happen in the inner west - wish we had a ‘Queen Street‘ vibe Here.
Cons: Welland Plaza and surrounds - Don’t like it.

"Little known gem"
Such a quiet, safe, beautiful place to live. The river park estate is the hidden gem, tucked away from the main roads, hidden along the river Torrens - beautiful streets , quality homes, love it.
Can ride a push bike to the CBD in a easy 20min or drive in 10min.
The beach is also just a quick ride or drive away, best of both worlds.
The entertainment center and Cooper's stadium are within walking distance, perfect for not worrying about finding and paying for parking - just walk to the event!
The brickworks shops are just over the river torrens, a foot bridge makes walking to the shops a breeze.
Allenby Gardens is truly the little known gem, once you experience it, you wouldn't want to call anywhere else home.

"Allenby Gardens - perfectly located between the beach and city."
Allenby Gardens is the character gem of the west. Comprising traditional sized allotments with character early 1900's homes ripe for renovating, fully renovated and extended homes, or alternatively low maintenance courtyard homes. A family friendly suburb close to Welland Plaza Shopping Centre, schools, public transport and perfectly located between the city and the beach.

"Allenby Gardens - A family friendly suburb within close proximity to everything!"
Allenby Gardens is conveniently located within easy access to the CBD, fantastic local shops and public transport. The area consists of stunning older character homes on allotments in excess of 700sqm. The local shopping centre at Welland Plaza is very handy with one of my favourites Sushi Train!

"Little gem in the western suburbs"
Wonderful little suburb close to city and not far from Grange beach. Quiet and safe suburb with great shops very close by at Welland plaza. Perfect place to live for families, young professionals, students and retirees. Good access to Port road buses for quick trip into CBD. Very convenient area for tenants wanting to rent.

"Perfectly located between the city and the beach"
A small, almost "unknown" suburb of only a handful of streets. On one side of Grange Road there is a housing estate with parks, backing on to Linear Park for walks to the city or beach and on the other side of Grange road, there is the delightful Coombe Road with glorious older style houses.
A real gem of a suburb that is fairly tightly held.

"Leafy suburb close to town..."
Leafy suburb close to town with good access to amenities. It's not the the most cosmopolitan place in the world, but it's quiet and has a good feel.
Interesting people are moving to the area and there's a bit of an old world Italian feel as well.
Would be nice if it had something like Queen Street in Croydon, but hey...it's Adelaide and strip shops barely survive here.
