Reviews of Ardrossan, SA
"Not welcoming"
Unless your a farmer or you have “the last name” or you have 100 years of family history within the town. You’re not very welcome it’s a very click town (along with most of the towns on yorkes ). Unless your not one of those people, there’s a good chance your kids will get bullied at school. I hated the school, couple of the tearchers humiliated students in front of the class. This would occur every week. Which resulted in poor education.
"Fantastic place to live and enjoy life"
Lived in Ardrossan all my life and can't see a reason to move. Fantastic place to raise a family being safe, secure and friendly and everyone keeping an eye out for others. Excellent sporting clubs to be involved with and most shopping bases covered. If you can't find what you need, Adelaide is only an easy 90 minute drive. "Home" of the blue swimmer crab and good fishing, a lot of people choose to retire in Ardrossan and the medical facilities are also good for peace of mind. Schooling is available from kindergarten right through until year 12. Subjects not available are sourced through open access if required with modern technology making it simple - just ask my kids. A great sense of community spirit is on display with residents taking pride in the towns appearance and reputation.
