Have lived in Healesville for many years, moved to Badger Creek nearly two years ago. Quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours. Safe and friendly neighbourhood for children to play outside. Low crime rate. Children can walk to school without much danger as there are no major roads.

Walking distance to parks, Healesville Sanctuary, Badger Weir Reserve, primary school, Kinder and milk bar. Five minute drive to main street of Healesville which has supermarkets, Dr's, a hospital and other services.

Half hour drive to Lilydale and Chirnside Park for shopping centres, train station and other services. Forty five minutes to an hour to larger hospitals. Houses are reasonably priced as long as you aren't after acreage.

Local primary schools are wonderful. Local high school is pretty average, so most children make the commute via bus to Lilydale, Mooroolbark or Mount Evelyn.

There are many extra curricular actives for children to choice from. Adult social activities are limited to three pubs and a nightclub, although there are a plethora of restaurants and wineries to choose from. Taxis are good during the week, average on the weekend.

All in all, a very family friendly suburb, with a country feel, but still close to larger suburbs and the city.
