We work in the CBD and coming home is like a dream. We love the peace and quiet. Great place for our kids. So much space. Easy transport to the city. Express trains. Fresh air!

"Houses with a view"
We love relaxing on our deck, watching the sun set, sipping on a glass of wine, being greeted by the kookaburras. Going to the markets for fresh produce or having our groceries delivered to our doorstep. Great lifestyle, great neighbours! We love this suburb!

"Great value for money if you want land!!!"
We were surprised that Berowra Heights was so affordable and well located at the same time.
About 20min from Hornsby or Thornleigh by car. 50min express to central. Great suburb to live, but also good if you’re thinking about investing for the future. Although most people are owner occupiers which is why the neighbourhood feels so safe and communal. Tight knit community, with limited supply of houses so it can be tricky to find one for sale.

"Love it!!"
If you love nature and feeling like you’re living in a staycation then Berowra Heights is the place for you! Lovely, welcoming community, really friendly down to earth neighbours (not karens). Your dog can bark without a neighbour writing threatening letters. East transport to the city.

"Very Boring"
Nice place to raise small children and to retire to. But very very boring for anyone over the age of 15 who enjoys a social live. Noisy neighbors too.

- Clean, green environment
- Near the train line
- Quiet
Not great for
- Eating out and local bar are terrible.

"Little piece of heaven"
We looked all over Sydney when deciding where to buy 7 years ago. Berowra stood out a mile for its relaxed country town atmosphere, it is quiet, bush surrounds, friendly locals and wildlife.
There is everthing you need in Berowra Heights, supermarkets, bank, schools, vet, dog park, gyms, cafes and restaurants (including the Berowra Waters Inn just down at the river).
Great local atmosphere, people always say hello and strangers stop for a friendly chat. The best neighbours we have ever encountered.
Whn people come to visit us they always say it feels like you are on holiday when in Berowra and Berowra Heights. It is clean, green and has a very creative community.
For us Berowra Heights is heaven.

"Kita Road - LOVE IT!!!!!!"
Perfect place for anyone, we know retirees, singles and families..everyone seems to love it here!!! We have the supermarket, doctor, vet, and bus stop approximately 4 minute walk away and schools only a few minutes more. With a real community feel and everything close by who wouldn't want to live here.

"A leafy haven for bush lovers and perfect for raising children"
Berowra Heights is a wonderful safe suburb, which has a lovely community spirit. It is safe enough still for children to ride their bikes and play cricket on the road!
The express trains that come from the Central Coast make it relatively easy to get into the city.
There are many wonderful outdoors activities to be experienced -bushwalking, boating at Berowra Waters.
Not ideal for families with teenagers/young adults if they are the sort who like night-life. Too far and public transport is dreadful late at night. They will need their own car.
