"Beautiful area"
A bit rough around the edges, but so close to a beautiful dog friendly beach, an amazing SLS club with nippers at Eimeo beach, and less than a 5 min drive to coles or woolies, gyms and a school. We love it here and are noticing more home owners and young families around rather than predominantly renters as in previous years. We love it here.

Is it rough? Could you please define it? I heard the number of renters is higher than in the surrounding suburbs.

I have owned in Blacks Beach for over 4 years and have nothing but positives for the area. Great schools, transports, dining and recreation. No crime and neighbors are friendly and happy. Kids play happily in parks and safely ride bikes around the parks and streets. A good mix of owners and renters and the area has a strong community spirit. Its got a great tavern and by far the best beach in the mackay region stretching 7km of pure sand and beautiful water. I would recommend this area to everyone! House prices fluctuate with mining cycles but steadily increase over time.
