Reviews of Bolton Point, NSW
"Full of Opportunity"
A sleeping giant in terms of investment. A number of waterfront reserve properties surrounded by cheaper housing. A great waterfront reserve park, jetty and boat ramp. With cheaper ex government housing and government housing investment, this suburb is a must.

"Great value for money"
Cheap and cheerful, with some of the best bargains to be had under $200k within 90 minutes of Sydney and near the coast. Yes there are quite a lot of Housing Commission homes in the suburb however many are being sold off at extremely good prices. The surrounding suburbs average house price is around $350k at the time of writing whereas Bolton Point has plenty around the $250k mark.
Huge amount of green space, right on Lake Macquarie, has its own shopping centre and is right next to Toronto where there are all facilities including some delightful cafes and restaurants. 20 minutes from the centre of Newcastle as well as its surf beaches and up and coming cafe culture. There is not only a boat ramp but several mooring areas as well. Large number of young families live here and it is easy to see why.
