Historical mining town with so much to see, boasting great pubs for a counter meal and a couple of great restaurants and plenty of attractions and sights to see. Lacking any major shopping, but saying this you are only 30 mins from Clare

"Nice friendy town"
Being a small town it has it's good and bad points. On the plus side people are friendly & easy to get along with (mostly), relaxed & if you're into footy netball cricket or hockey you'll be right at home! Has plenty of character (old miners town) with heritage & if you're looking for more shopping, sporting or dining Clare is only a 30min drive away. Some of the negitives would be shops don't open very late but you get used to that & accommodate, can get rather cold in winter & if you're like an exciting night life then this wouldn't be the place for you ( but has 4 pubs, motel resturant, asian resturant & authentic Italian pizza resturant)
