"Fishermans paradise and a pretty little spot to boot"
Nice quiet town with one general store/post office it has all the basics and it is a 20min drive to childers for real shopping and schools medical etc. Inland Buxton is quiet rural with lots of gumtree bush wildlife kanaroos etc. Closer to the river Isis has beautiful tropical surroundings a very relaxing place with very little to do except for bush walking camping canoeing, there are picnic tables and bbq area. The fishing is excellent, mud crabs, prawns and many many types of fish the wildlife you see in and out of the river is quiet amazing.

- Occaisonally cane toads and mosquitos can be a nuisance
- 20minute drive to town
