I lived in Carrington for two years and could not recommend it enough to all of my friends, co workers and tenants alike. Carrington is a short 5 minute drive to the centre of Newcastle City. It has a small community coastal town feel, the streets are quiet, it is a family friendly safe suburb that is thriving. Carrington has great pubs, that all offer something different, a Japanese kitchen and noodle bar offering Asian Fair and a very popular bowling club that is the locals favourite watering hole in a Sunday afternoon. The suburb that once was an industrial island is now the perfect suburbia for both young professionals and families.

Carrington is central to many local parks, cafes, take away shops & numerous restaurants in Newcastle. It is a great family friendly suburb with a local school & day care centre! You will no doubt meet many great, friendly people and receive a great comunity feeling.
