Reviews of Collinsville, QLD
"Easy going"
Collinsville is like a breath of fresh air compared to city life,it's like going back in time where things are alot more simple.I actually live in Scottville which is only 3km up the road.
The majority of people in Collinsville are friendly & up front.
There is work to be had & will be plenty more with another 4 mines opening around the area.
Being so close to the coast is a short 45min drive.
Great weather.
Im very happy.

"Safe and relaxed"
This is a small country town and as such is safe and very friendly. It is nice to feel a part of a small community. Having moved from AdelaideI I was delighted to find two excellent hairdressing salons, a great beauty salon, two supermarkets, churches and a fantastic swimming pool. When you want more it is a two hour drive to Airlie Beach and three hours to Mackay or Townsville. Bowen is only one hour away and Proserpine airport is a about a 90 minute drive. The bird life is extraordinary and gardening here is a dream compared to Adelaide!
