Reviews of Coolum, QLD
"Coolum -"
Coolum is a seaside town with one of the only remaining beachfront caravan parks still available. The beach is popular with surfers and swimmers and the Surf Patrol operates all year around.
The high rises are gradually sneaking in especially on the beach front. The Surfside has no. 1 position to enjoy breakfast or casual lunch whilst watching the punters enjoying their day on the beach. The shopping precinct has been upgraded substantially over the past few years and now sports many top brands, restaurants and coffee shops along with all the necessary services of banks, petrol stations and a very large Dan Murphys store.
Coolum is only 10-15 minutes drive to Noosa Heads or to the Sunshine Coast International airport making it a great location for those wishing to live near to the sunshine motorway. Coolum is home to Coolum State School, Coolum High School, Coolum Beach Christian College as well as Coolum Community Kindergarten and Pre-school.
Coles and Woolworths both have large stores in Coolum. The Blast Aqua Park is also located in Coolum and offers great activities for a few hours for the whole family. Coolum hosts local markets usually once per week with a great array of locally made produce and crafts.
