"A small town where everybody knows your name"
I recently moved from Leichhardt two months ago, and I can guarantee that Cowan is better (even though Leichhardt is nice to). In Cowan all the locals are awesome, and the facilites are great, we have a great community centre a boat shop and the award winning pie in the sky, I would strongly recommend that anybody thinking of moving to Leichhardt should move to Cowan instead

- Everything is in walking distance
- Close to train line, (10 minutes walking, instead of a 10 minute bus trip
