Reviews of Darley, VIC
"Nowhere to go, nothing to do"
Moved here temporarily for a year after living inner-city and it's like being on a different planet. No parks, no shops, no cafes, nothing to do at night, just rows and rows of houses. You need to drive at least 30 minutes to get anywhere decent and the public transport is a joke. The residents aren't exactly cultured either. The only pro is you can get a McMansion for peanuts.

"Good for family"
Love it, Love the sound of name Darley. Fortunately we live on location with good view around, friendly neighbours, close to the (Primary) school, kindergarten, and one local shop.

"A great place no matter the age or family"
Wellington Street is one of many streets in Darley which provides great access to major freeways and shops. Also providing walking distance to rivers, parks, schools and an easy enjoyable walk into the heart of Bacchus Marsh.
A sensational place to raise kids with large blocks, safe streets and great schools and a community value that everyone deserves a fair go. Thought about moving to another suburb to build a bigger house but have opted to renovate as you cant get any better for the price and value. New estates have trouble parking two cars either side but i can tell you the great courts of Wellington Street you can park a truck and car and still have room for a bus.
