Feels like remote areas

I moved from Northmead Sydney to Flinders near Shellharbour. It has been 7 years of sublime bliss. A clean and green environment . It is situated in a gentle valley and though soundproof from the sounds of big cities.....the lapping of the Pacific Ocean tide is pleasant to hear...and the chugging of city rail trains without exposure to air contamination. The jewel in the Flinders crown is its neighbours. I have fallen ill several times....at odd hours. My neighbours sacrificed their sleep to call the ambulance and ensure I was hospitalized. This is what makes Flinders outstanding....the selfless character of my neighbours.

I have lived in Flinders for 4 years now and find it a great suburb to live. It is close to beaches, large shopping centres, Drs, Hospitals and only 1'15 minutes from Sydney. It has a regional airport and most people are friendly. There is however a few home robberies. There is modern homes and parks and even a dog park. I love the area.

Beautiful area in close proximity to beaches, parks, shopping centres, schools, pharmacy and the list goes on.

Great area, lovely people, big and modern homes, lovely primary school, many childcare and pre-schools.

Flinders is a beautiful suburb nestled on Illawarra's South Coast. Situated between Shell Cove and Blackbutt, Flinders is both in close distance to the Beach (2 minutes) and Major Shopping Centre (5 minutes). Along with all the amentities close by, Flinders also consists of many sized beautiful homes, parks, reserves, bbq areas, corner shops, pre-schools, a primary school and a community centre. Flinders has a friendly vibe, which can be experienced by taking a walk and enjoying the suburb. Overall, Flinders along with its 2 estates (Woodlands and Seacrest) is a beautiful and enjoyable area to live in!

Flinders is a beautiful place to live and raise a family the houses are nice and modern the schools are fantastic our family loves going to the local parks they are always safe and clean.
Flinders is also close to great shops the beach and sporting facilities its the whole package we wouldnt live anywhere else!
