Reviews of Gloucester, NSW
"Friendly Country Community"
I never tire of driving into Gloucester to see that stunning Bucketts Range which runs along the left hand side of The Bucketts Way (if driving from the south) Stunning sunsets over the Bucketts range are a sight to see! I always say that the Woolworths Supermarket there must have the most spectacular view in the country, with that mountain range behind it. I have an office in Gloucester and spend most days working in the area. The people are super friendly and look out for each other whenever needed.
Country charm and country hospitality awaits.

"A pleasant and safe country town for seniors."
i was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and I know a bit about city life. I retired here 15 years ago. Gloucester offers city people a chance to enjoy small town living, particularly the locals' friendliness and the chance to enjoy sporting participation in a clean and safe environment. One can walk around town easily, viewing the natural settings at every step. There is a surprisingly large medical centre and a public hospital, too. Lots of country-style places for meals. The main park complex caters to many sporting activities, as well as containing a popular caravan park. The whole district is a sightseers delight.

"A Pristine Country Town"
Gloucester really is idyllic rolling hills, safe neighbourhoods, country ethos. Having grown up in this town, I feel very grateful to have had such a wholesome and safe childhood. This town is perfect for small families, city folk wanting a country change and retirees. There are a handful of small schools, where the children receive more one on one learning and assistance. Two supermarkets, pubs, cafes and a great family bakery. Gloucester is very central to other regional cities and the coast.

"Top tidy town with a stunning backdrop"
Gloucester is a friendly, supportive and safe town. There is great community spirit and many opportunities to experience nature from walking trips into Barrington National park to the local community gardens all organised by local community groups. The town is geared more towards older residents but there are still many opportunities for younger residents with a culture of nurturing sporting talent, and many opportunities such as river kayaking, horse riding and mountain biking which are not found elsewhere.
