Reviews of Gunnedah, NSW
"Hype Disappointment"
Council and Real Estates creating a false sense of community as the town goes to crap, exorbitant prices in comparison to other towns. Rich will get filthy rich then become a ghost town. Sad to see greed ruin what use to be a lovely community

"least friendly town in NSW"
Wow! What a clique town Gunnedah is... and what the hell have they got to be snobby about? Open your eyes "Sunny Gunny"... your real estate is lazy - obviously you had a boom in the 50's, again in the 70's and nothing has been done to these homes since; and now the developers and a greedy council have let loose with project homes. Brighten those 50's and 70's houses up. Plenty of work in this town for a renovator or two (if you can afford the high prices for run down property).
Try meeting a few locals: good luck. Pretty exclusive groups here. Sporting clubs obviously not needing new members (fishing club excepted). Volunteers all run by oldies who have grown up together and don't understand why you would move from within 500m of the hospital you were born in.
So much potential here but not a welcome in sight. Couldn't tick more than one of the good things about this town: schools alone. Plenty to choose from.
Nice house visit
