"Moving back home"
Fortunate enough to inherit my childhood house. After tossing up selling or keeping we decided to move into the house. We love it here. We live right behind the high school and it’s surprisingly quiet. The kids are happy the wife is happy and I guess it always hugely like home. I live in a colder Dav and there is a real sense of community spirit in the streeet. Very happy hear. The only downfall is Carnes hill Shopping centre as it needs a revamp

"Nice older suburb"
We downsized into this area. The suburb seems to be getting revamped. Alot of houses are updating the shops are being updated and there are lots of parks being put in. It’s really a quiet and lovely place to live.

"Very happy"
We started renting here a year ago specifically to be in the area for the high school. So far we have been impressed. We are hoping the interest rate rises makes it more affordable for us to buy in the next year or so as the house prices are quite high. The local high school has lived up to its reputation and our neighbours are so friendly.

"Great place for families to grow"
We have raised 4 kids here. Schools are great and the area is coming alive with new parks and infrastructure. It’s so nice to see homes undergoing beautiful updates. Now the markets are going it will be even better. The new train stations are so close.

"Not enough community facilities"
No hospital, schools are ok, too far from everything.
Better suburbs out there.
That is an unrealistic response. I have lived here for many years and we have multiple parks, outdoor gyms, great busses and 5 mins to the trains. We are also 15 mins from the new airport and no flight paths under us to impact us. I say we are doing ok in Horningsea Park.
"Plenty of updated parks and private whilst being close to key infratructure"
Some upgraded park areas and plenty of space is great, quick access to the M7 and Camden Valley Way and right near the future airport preceinct so future road infrastructure will be significant. Doesn't have a train station so like some other western suburbs is car reliant, but very pleasant neighborhood and plenty of high quality homes and streets.

"Cannot fault living here"
Moved up from Adelaide a couple of years ago. Awesome place close to shops, buses, trains (which are improving) freeways etc. the only thing they could improve is nightlife although council seem to run free events like food markets, outdoor cinemas etc. swimming centre due to be built and parks constantly being upgraded. My kids are excelling at the local John Edmondson high school who have been brilliant during this Covid situation with online learning. My family couldn’t be happier.

"Alright suburb for the southwest"
Aside from a few amenities in the suburb itself and neighbouring suburbs more so, there isn't much to get excited about in this pocket of south-west Sydney. Transport is not highly convenient as well accessibility of shops, dining, health services, etc. Health is integral, so I wouldn't state that this suburb is undervalued. Safety relative to some neighbouring suburbs of neighbouring suburbs is to be prided, but I believe first and foremost, comes health so a hospital ought to be implemented for the benefit of this family oriented suburb. Additionally, we could do with a greater range of amenities perhaps in suburbs up north. Education sector not excellent, there are some decent local schools, but aside from that, scarce.

Thats not true. If you actually lived in this suburb you would see the huge improvements Council is making the the parks around here. This suburb is here to stay.
"Moved in June 2017"
Moved in as I heard the high school was good. I was so impressed in not only the school but the suburb itself. Coming from Ashcroft I couldn’t be happier. It’s so clean and most houses are so well kept. My kids ride around safely and I feel safe enough to go for walks. We are so close to everything here and in the coldersac we live in we have such a community feel. The kids play together and the neighbors all talk and look after each other. You will def not be disappointed in Horningsea Park.

"Great place to live"
We were deciding between a new house in a local suburb or a established house in Horningsea Park. After looking around we chose the established house. Why you ask? Well the schools are brilliant, shopping centre close by, markets gone, carnes hill precent is a short walk and is awesome, kurrajong road is so convenient the list goes on..... The suburb has so many parks, families, kids, its quiet and we are fortunate to have more land than the newer estates so a pool just went in. We know our neighbours and the kids all know each other. It is a great place to live. The only downfall is the internet is not the best sometimes.
Great for
- Family Friendly
- Lots of other elderly people

"Very Impressed"
My parents just downsized their house and moved into this Suburb. Whilst we were worried about a big move for them, (they came from Riverwood) I couldn't be happier. They have a bus stop 2 doors down and its a flat walk (which is important to them) They have all the amenities so close by, doctors, supermarkets, big w etc. The only thing they miss is a post office and Library. I am impressed with the house, suburb, parks etc. I know my parents are happy with the low maintenance property they bought and can still maintain their independance for a bit longer.

"Finally a suburb where it is safe to venture outside!"
What a wonderful suburb to live in. We have just rented a house to test the suburb and so far are really impressed with how friendly the neighbours are and what a clean suburb it is. People take pride in their homes. the high school students look like they just walked out of a private school. We are def buying here as soon as we find the right house.
"We made the right decision!"
We LOVE it here and our kids love it here! Its great to live in a suburb that you see kids playing in the parks (which are clean) and riding their bikes and scooters with each other. It is just like it was when I was growing up. We are glad we bought this house. The past 8mths have been fantastic.
"In love with the suburb"
Moved in 3 mths ago and this is by far the best suburb I have lived in

"With a 11% increase in house value within the first 6 months of 2010... why would'nt u invest in Horningsea Park."
About Horningsea Park from a real estate agents perspective i think its a fantastic area to reside in when buying a lovely, family friendly home thats close for John Edmondson students, shops that are in a easy 10-15 minute walking distance and public transport. Horningsea Park has grown in wealth by itself due to peoples demand to move into the area, majority of people within the area know all there neighbours and on the weekends the community spirit is very evident. I am happy to have helped lovely families move into the area and thank me for having recommended Horningsea Park as a lovely area to live in. Once all the infrastructure is complete around the neighbourhood you just watch how this area will grow again in value and wealth for all that live within Horningsea Park.

"We've got it all here for the family"
We feel happy about letting the kids play in the street- and there's reserves for them too. The school's right here in The Park, we can drop our littlies off at the child care centre right here, and be on Camden valley Way to work (me) or Cowpasture Rd (Dad). Carnes Hill shopping centre's just round the corner, we can walk ther, it's got it all- Big W, Woolies, Medical centre, hairdressers, pharmacy, Woolie's petrol, Maccas, churches etc, and if we get time off there's a great Italian. And you still feel out of the city- Forest Lawn's across the Highway and then its Leppington and Camden. When the train comes to Leppington we might even sell the 'Cruiser and take it easy on the way to work!

Do you even know this area? I think not We are directly central to the M5, M7, Camden Valley Way, Bringelly Rd and Cowpasture rd. Great shopping and restaurants at Carnes hill, Edmondson Park, Prestons, Willowdale, Middleton Grange. These are not even 10mins away. Tell me in reality how many suburbs have a hospital in it? What a laughable comment. You are a spammer and no idea what this suburb has to offer.
