"Rural Community!"
Ilkley is a lovely little rural area incorporating Eudlo and Tanawha. It is at the base of Buderim which is only 10 mins away and there is a railway station in Eudlo which takes you to Brisbane. You have the convenience of Chancellor Park Shopping Centre and the Sunshine Coast University 10 minutes away and all the private and state schools almost at your doorstep. Ilkley is on a parallel with Mooloolaba and is only a 15 minute drive to the beach. The Ilkley/Eudlo community is very friendly and conservation conscious. The village of Eudlo has a Primary School, General Store, Post Office, Hairdresser, Art Gallery and the"Sweethearts Cafe". The Chenrezig Buddhist Centre is situated in Eudlo and the Maroochy Botanical Gardens are 10 minutes away as well as the Tanawha Golf Club.
There are lots of home based businesses that supply produce and crafts to the local market held in the Community hall once every couple of months.
Overall, Ilkley is the most perfect place to live for all age groups!
