"Inner City Exclusive Suburb"
I lived in Kensington for over 13 years and I still sell homes in this suburb. All the clients I have moved into this suburb love it to because it is so convenient and central to everything. My two children did all their Primary School Years at Kensington Primary School which you can only attend if you live in the Suburb so it has a vibrant community made up of young professionals and families. Kensington is becoming popular because it is walking distance to the Vicpark Precinct where you have many culinary choices from all over the world for dinner and take a bottle of your special wine. If you ever want to know what the street is like your looking to buy in call me and I will be happy to help on 0402 089 908 !

"Kensington - South Perth's Little Sister Suburb..."
I love Kensington which in many ways is like an extension to South Perth. Offering an eclectic mix of character through to new homes, Kensington is popular for families looking for a more substantial sized block of land, for a little bit less than you would pay in South Perth. It's an evolving area, with some homesites being redeveloped and some being restored to reflect their original character. There are some highly sought after pockets offering stunning views of the Perth CBD. Being within close proximity to the Swan River and Perth CBD, its a winner. It has a lovely village feel, without a major shopping centre as such, but you'll find most things you need within about 3 km's. Kent Street, Senior High School is a sought after government high school in the area offering specialized programs. Penrhos (girls private School) is close in Como and Wesley College (Private Boys in South Perth).

"Favourite Suburb"
Kensington would have to be one of my favourite suburbs ! It shares the same post code as South Perth but it is much smaller and is mainly made up of houses instead of units. There are some cute hidden cafes spotted around the streets and Kensington Primary School is very popular. Many of the homes are full of character and there are a lot of families. Kensington is known for its amazing Halloweeen presententation with lots of home participating in trick or treat.

"Never moving away"
Moved to Kensington and have watched this little suburb move ahead with so many houses being renovated the place has become very gentrified. Marvellous convenient location and great amenities- perfect family suburb for cbd based professionals.

"Location, location"
Kensington is the best value for money suburb in the inner city areas of Perth, only being a 10 minute drive to the Terrace in peak hour. Lovely city views, access to foreshore, parks, cafes, airport, Fremantle and Optus stadium are all so easy. No infill developments have kept the great appeal and character housing in the suburb.

"Convenient, friendly and full of character"
Kensington is a little village type suburb full of beautiful character houses and numerous parks and bush land, all 3kms to the cbd. Very central to city, airport, quick drive to the beaches and Fremantle and close to the stadium for the big games. Also becoming more of a cafe hub, whilst being a 5 minute or so walk to the Vic Park strip.

"Clean, green and convenient"
Kensington is a boutique suburb bordering the Swan river, south perth, vic park and Como. Has brilliant green space and is a quick and easy drive or bus or bike ride commute to the cbd (3kms). Has great schools and is easily accessible to the airport and 20 mins drive to Fremantle and all the best beaches. Nice character houses abound throughout the suburb.

"Relaxing"
Relaxing environment with many families on board. Close proximity to the city but still maintains its cozy conducive living environment for all.
"Inner city but peaceful suburb"
Close to the city, but maintains a pretty quiet family friendly environment. Close (5 mins walk) to one of Perth’s largest cafe , pub and restaurants precincts at Vic Park. Easy access from all of Kensington to the majestic foreshore of south perth and vic Park, also a nice and safe walking distance to Crown and Optus stadium (along river walkway).

"The place to be south of the river"
Kensington is a brilliant area- clean, green, great amenities and inner city. Becoming more expensive as people discover it- apparently up circa 19% in last 12 months (according to REIWA stats) when Perth generally has declined in value. Best suburb close to the cbd.

"Lifestyle and super convenient"
Kensington is a mini suburb ringed by south perth and Vic Park. Brilliant location- 15 minutes to beaches and airport, 5 minutes to cbd, cafes and restaurants aplenty, the south perth foreshore fronts the suburb and there are many excellent parks and green spaces throughout the suburb. Plenty of character houses, many have been renovated lifting the demographics of the area. Still has a community type feel which is great for families.

"Up and coming suburb"
Kensington is a great little suburb, so close to the city and foreshore but quiet and family friendly. Has a great array of character housing which defines the suburb. Has traditionally been a working class area but has been undergoing gentrification for a number of years and is now quite upmarket. Has a number of good schools nearby and abundance of cafes and restaurants, particularly the Vic Park strip.

"City views, green space and 10 mins to everywhere"
Moved to Kensington from Brisbane 12 months ago and could not be happier. Easy access to city, the south Perth foreshore, cafes and shops of Vic Park, airport, with great schools (private and public) and Curtin Uni campus close by or within Kensington. The suburb itself seems to be a bit of a hidden gem as it is quite small and carries the same post code as South Perth which is considered an exclusive suburb. We considered inner northern and western suburbs which are either similar price or more expensive and found Kensington to be best value for money.

"Inner City Delight"
A great small suburb bounded by Como, South Perth and Victoria Park. Just a walk away from cafe strips and the Swan River it is great for people who like to live an easy lifestyle or families with kids. With great City views and close for people working in the city you will be sure to love it!

"Close to everything"
Love the place...its close to absolutely everything. The neighbors are friendly and the primary school is good. Very expensive to rent in the area if you are comparing to Sydney (where we came from) but if you work in the city and have kids you could not choose a better suburb considering location, school, parks, shopping, etc. For the singles who want nightlife, Kensington is 5 minutes to the city by car during the night and public transport works. :-)

"So close to everything"
I have lived in Kensington for 10 years on and off and love the area, everything is so close, shops, good restaurants and take away places. My kids both went to Kensington Primary, great school we also have a pre-primary. Lots of young families and a nice park with a play ground.
Ideal area for young executive couple, the city is only 5 mins by car and public transport is easily. The freeway also 5 mins to go either north or south.

126th? That's just because no-one knows where it is. It's a hidden gem but it's not cheap...
