Kumarina is a two hour drive to the north east of Meekatharra or is you are coming from Perth be prepared for a two day drive along the great Northern Highway. The town is really only a stopover point and had limited facilities. The nearest medical centre and hospital are in Meekatharra and should you be determined to live out here the main educational facilities are either Meekatharra or distance education via correspondence or School of the Air. The town consists of a roadhouse which has a restaurant, motel and hotel incorporated as well as a caravan park. This road house is well stocked and has takeaway meals as well as restaurant service. There is no real estate for sale here and the best you could do should the urge take you would be to enquire about buying land and build your own house. Good comfortable place for a stopover but definitely not a relocation option. Also be warned that mobile phone services in this area are unreliable and if you are traveling be sure to carry extra water.
