Reviews of Lurnea, NSW
"Close to 2 train stations and Liverpool"
5 minutes to Casula station 7 minutes to Liverpool. Undervalued I believe. Nice quiet streets mix of people Eastern European, Middle Eastern and Australian.
New houses going up and rebuilding.
At least 5 child care centres within 1000 metres of my house.

"Good - But think about the future also."
Lurnea, is good to live. However, if planning to recontruct in that area please be VERY careful is selecting a land/house. We were not sure until the coucil report came through. The land is in a flood zone area - which is fine....but if recontructing, then you need to dig and fill the land to raise it high from the sea level. The approximate costs in doing so is around $50000. So, make sure you get a good deal, otherwise its not worth it!
"A great place to live real value for money, with M5 and M7 minutes away its very central"
Its handy and close to everything, 20 mins into the city on a weekend. Also we liverpool is just 2 minutes away. I think its one of the most affordable suburbs left. Older generation still live in the area which is great for the kids it's like having Grandma and Grandpa next door.

I was only quoted $10,000 extra to raise my slab before building.
