"Beautiful place - shame about the people."
Having lived in Macedon for 5 years I can firmly say you really are spoilt for choice in views, nature walks and plain old nature. On the other hand there seems to be a condensed amount of walking snots that think they know it all. There are still many friendly people but boy do some people know how to get heigh off the smell of their own farts. I suppose its classified as sustainable living. There's not alot going on for your average tourist attractions which can be nice for a change. Think scones and open garden shows/walks or farmers markets and animals shelters. There's definitely more cottage businesses still alive and kicking around here which is nice for a change. Oh...and beware of the dirt bikes! You could be quietly walking a track one minute and suddenly have a swarm of dirt bikes shoot out of nowhere over your head - not kidding. Have a nice day!

Hey Mark, sorry to hear that you feel that way about Macedon - Now is a good time to sell - hopefully you have been successful in putting your property on the market and moved to new place to call home.
I think macedon/macedon ranges is a beautiful part of Regional Vic to live in. So close to everything, but yet far enough if you want to be away from the City
