Reviews of Millers Point, NSW
"Dream area of Sydney - Harbour views and safe and close to everything."
Sensational place to live. Walk to ferry, bus, train and future light rail. Harbour views are gorgeous. Quiet and safe - there are always security guards patrolling the area. I have found it incredibly easy to find street parking, but grab a permit so you can beat the 2 hour limit. When events are on the back lanes are known by you for parking, but not visitors, so hide out there. The Housing tenants had a strong neighbourly bond. The terraces they left are prime real estate and many are Heritage. Beautiful walks to The Rocks and Barangaroo and Circular Quay make this place the best suburb in Sydney. A lot of filming goes on and lots of tourists walk around taking photos. I've left my doors and windows open the whole time while living here for 2 years and there is never any trouble. I can barely fault this suburb. No wonder the Housing tenants did not want to leave - they made this place - the history runs deep and it's a sad legacy they leave for the wealthy to purchase. The Housing tenants were never any trouble at all. They would be the first to help you out in any way you needed - this was their home and the Government sold out on them. Pretty terraces and ancient pubs and back steps and lanes to the Harbour - Millers Point is the only place I would buy into in Sydney CBD - if only I had the money. You won't regret moving here if you get the chance.

"Quiet elegant city living- close to everything"
A great secret quiet part of the city yet still close to everything- public transport, Gp, schools, gym and parks. I wouldn't want to move from here.
