"Bad roads, boring facilities"
Doesn't look like a decent place to live nor commute to. Had encountered so many pot holes and some deep ones have not been fixed for a long period. Seems like shoddy work done for this city. The shops may have been built in the last decade but they already feel drab. The vibe of this community does not feel nice. Encountered people who drive off after hitting another car.
"8 months in Narellan and loving it ..."
We have recently moved to Narellan from Broadbeach (QLD) and my husband and I can't believe how lovely everyone is here. We moved from Broadbeach due to increasing street gang violence, we now feel so safe and secure in Narellan and are so glad we made the move. The people in Narellan are so inviting, we have made so many new friends since the move. We were a tad worried and did not know what to expect with the move but from the first week here my husband and I knew we made an excellent decision. Narellan has everything you need at your door step plus more!

"Fantastic town, Fantastic community - I love Narellan!"
Narellan is a fantastic place to live, apart from only being 45 minutes to Sydney it also offers a definite family community.
There are a vast array of shopping outlets, cinema complex and numerous five star restaurants through Narellan.
It is very safe and there is a strong sense of community spirit and pride.
I continually run into friends and neighbours when grocery shopping at the local town centre, it is just a great feeling to know you live within such a friendly and peaceful community.
The community ranges from youth to families right through to retirees.
I have never had one issue within Narellan, it’s not overcrowded and I always feel safe and secure.
My three children all grew up here and two of my children love it so much they have now purchased their own properties here to raise their children.
I look forward to kicking back and retiring in Narellan, I have travelled and lived around the world and I would not want to be anywhere else but here!

"Unsafe, full of traffic and fast food places"
Hoons and thugs are common place in this typical South Western Sydney suburb. I couldn't wait to move out of the place. Our house was robbed on numerous occasions. The suburb has no decent restaurants and the local school are huge and overcrowded. There are 2 McDonalds in this suburb, so that gives you and idea of the class of this place. Traffic is a nightmare

"Narellan the heart of the South West"
Narellan is very conveniently located only 10 minutes drive to the rural suburbs, 10 minutes drive to Macarthur Square shopping centre, 40 minutes from the beach and 40 minutes from Sydney. What is even better, is that you do not really need to travel at all. Narellan is famous for the Narellan Town Centre averaging 100 stores including a modern food court, restaurants, professional businesses facing Camden Valley Way and has also recently developed an 8 screen cinema complex. Narellan has plenty of sporting grounds, schools and a local library in which the residents can access. Somerset Avenue, Narellan could almost be considered the 'CBD' of Narellan with many professional businesses such as Starr Partners Real Estate, Coutts Conveyancing & Legal Services, Accountants, Finance Brokers, National Australia Bank, Hair Salons & Dental Surgery. Not only is Narellan a family friendly area but is recognised as a safe place to raise children.

"Great suburb for families"
Narellan has a great family atmosphere. Set close to Camden there is a fantastic country feel to the area. There are a number of very good schools. It is close to many attractions, with shopping centres, restaurants, wineries, cinemas, heritage areas, botanic gardens, national parks, great picnic areas and walks. A great variety of sports for all ages are catered for with sporting venues supporting competitions from all over the state. A grat area to live and yet it still retains the space and friendly feel of a small town.

"Narellan - A Great Place to Live"
I’ve lived in Narellan for the past 10 years... and I’ve found Narellan to be great place to live and bring up children! Not sure what the previous reviewer was on about... I find it somewhat disappointing these comments were posted.
