Been living here for over 10 years. Enjoying the vibrant environment and busy shopping centres. Travelling to CBD is easy and convenient. Near to medical centres and other educational centres. Great Greek, Asian and Mediterranean to European type restaurants. Reasonable council rates and plenty of parks to visit.

Apart from the high crime rate, it has nice parks, places to eat out and also it is right next to Clayton station and huntingdale station. The old Clayton North part needs work

Great area for parks, public transport and suburbs like Clayton, Springvale, Mount Waverly, Oakleigh. The side along Clayton road needs a lot of work done

This suburb is basically Clayton everything is same grubby, dirty a lot of crime in the suburb. Never feel safe at night. But the area is good for parks, public transport and has a fair bit of stores near by. It close to the suburbs Clayton, Springvale, Oakleigh, Mount waverly and Chadstone so you got of places nearby

I've been living in the area for 2 years now. Has to say it's my perfect match. Feel safe to walk at night and it has everything you need. Only 20km to CBD and easy access to everything. In terms of night life and eat out, you have more than enough choices to choose from Clayton, Oakleigh and Chaddy. Not to mentioned Monash Hospital is less than 7 mins drive.

Used to live in Narre Warren South, moved here 4 years ago, so much of difference. Shopping, freeway, reach to the city, people and greenery is amazing. Old style houses gives good warm homely feelings Just love it...

I rented in Oakleigh East (on Dublin St) for about 2 years. It was largely a quiet area (although the early morning noise coming from the primary school did get a bit annoying!). It's a convenient location; it's close to Monash University, and Chadstone is not far away. Public transport options are many - you're near Princes Hwy with buses that will take you anywhere, and you can choose between Huntingdale and Oakleigh stations. The Oakleigh shops nearby have a strong Greek culture which is lovely. I always felt safe there. Obviously it's a quiet suburb so not great for those who like some nightlife, but it would be perfect for pretty much anyone else.
