Reviews of Parkside, SA
"A character suburb with only 10 minutes into the CBD!"
Parkside is a very multicultural, quiet, safe, clean and green suburb. It offers lots of potential.
Parkside is so close to the CBD, you will be there in 10 minutes straight! How good is that!
Its also home to Unley Road, with all the cafes, shops, restraunts, and Unley Shopping Centre close by. However, traffic along Unley Road in the afternoons is so anoying, that you will need to go through the shortcut streets.
So if you lookingf for an excellent place, then stop looking! This is the place for you!!

"A Character filled suburb with unpretentiousness and individuality"
A fantastic location in an old character filled suburb of old villa dwellings. With close location to resturants, supermarkets, speciality shops and one of the best local "quiet" location hotels with a fantastic vibe the "Earl of Leister". The bike ride journey into Adelaide center can be made through the parklands for most of the way and only takes 15 mins. The suburb is well vegetated with great wakling paths and also has a community garden which also runs courses in organic gardening. A haven for people of all interests.

"A real sense of community"
Great shops, unbelievably quiet streets so close to the city, this suburb is amongst the best in Adelaide.
There are as the name suggests numerous parks nearby with Unley Oval, several dog parks plus the playing fields of the south parklands and Victoria Park a five minute walk away.
Great shopping centres and cafes strips abound and the area has a real sense of community in most of the streets. Young Street is one of the highlights with it's cute single fronted cottages and small villas that in Sydney or Melbourne would fetch crazy money contributing to the lovely close knit community feel.
I can't think of anywhere else apart from pricey North Adelaide that has the same vibe.

"One of the best."
This is a very popular suburb close to the city just across from the south parklands. With a wide range of housing available it is a great spot with a good blend of residents.
There are plenty of shops close by to get everything you could need. And the city is not far away. You could easily walk in in 15 minutes or catch a bus. I've walked it many a time from Parkside across the parklands and into the city.
This well established area has beautiful tree lined streets with plenty of street parking. One of the most attractive areas in Adelaide in my opinion.
Not far from some great restaurants of Adelaide, including the cafes and restaurants of Unley, this is a great spot. It’s easy to get out for a Sunday brunch.
If you're lucky enough to work at some of the places on Greenhill Road you can wake late and get to work on time.
