"Exclusive living but still close to everything"
An exclusive estate, perfect for those looking for privacy, immaculately maintained homes and gardens and those who love all things golf! This estate is beautiful and still super close to all amenities including, schools, shops, and transport

"Lots of green space, family friendly, safe."
We have lived in Sandhurst for about 18 months. We are a professional couple with no kids. We love it. It is quiet. There are extensive walking/bike paths and lots of people using them. I walk every day on them. People are very friendly and there is good community spirit. Because it is a club estate there are fees which include gardening for all the public green areas which are beautifully kept. And of course the golf courses are lovely to look at even if you dont play. Shopping centres are nearby and it is close to freeways.
The club also provides gym, pool and tennis courts as well as cafe and restaurant and members bar. Fees also cover 24 hr security and all houses on the estate have monitored security systems.
There is a bus stop at the entry to the estate. Mornington peninsula is nearby for weekend drives.
Perfect for us.

NBN came through a couple of years ago. Any provider that does NBN should be available. We both worked from home last year and I did a lot of video calls with no issue. It is usually pretty fast.

"Lovely community suburb"
We moved to Sandarra 7 years ago and we love it! It’s a beautiful tidy estate, neighbours are lovely and considerate. It has a real community feeling, where people look out for one another. Beautiful views of parks, golfing areas and a beautiful green wedge makes you feel like you’re in the country but only 40min from the city. 7 min to the beach, 4 min to the EastLink or the Monash its very well located.
The Sandhurst Club has a gym, a cafe and events centre that is beautiful. I often walk from Sandarra to the club to have breakfast or lunch with the kids.

"Sandhurst Area"
I would not Recommend people to move & live in Sandhurst & Sandarra Estate
* This area is Very Boring
There is nothing really to do here
* No Walking Distance to Local Shops
* Thompson Road is a Disaster from both directions
* No Proper Internet Service Providers Available In This Area
There is only 1 Internet Provider which is Clublinks Telecommunications
Worse Internet Service Provider Ever
* Very Poor Customer Service
* Very Slow Internet
* A Lot of Dropouts & Long Outages
* Very Expensive
Most comments here are out of date now. NBN is available and fast. You have the option of any internet provider. Thompsons Rd has been widened reducing congestion. There is plenty to do here but it is not near the "action". That is the reason most people move here -for nature and quiet yet still be close to services.
What are fees to pay yearly and how much is the council rates approximately we looking at moving into the area? What is it like when visitors come to have bbq any problems
As at 2021 estate fee about $4000pa.
Hi Liane, we are thinking of buying in the area and cant seem to find any info re internet providers? We work from home some days so need a fast, reliable internet. thanks!
