Reviews of Sefton, NSW
"A great place for families"
Sefton is a small suburb that packs a big punch with access to facilities and amenities. For those bringing up young kids, there are three parks with children’s playground equipment within walking distance. One of the parks, Maluga Passive Park not only has playground equipment but also walking tracks, ponds teaming with ducks, bush turkeys, a pleasant bushland surrounding and outdoor gym equipment for the adults. For those with older kids, there is the tennis academy, soccer fields, golf course and recently upgraded leisure centre at Birrong, again all within walking distance.
Sefton has the basics covered when it comes to shops with a fruit and veg/general store, pharmacy, mower, liquor store and a Lebanese pizza take away in the strip of shops nearby the railway station. Corner stores are littered through the streets meaning everyday basics like milk, bread and newspapers are just a short stroll away.

"Affordable, established, close to all you need."
I have happily lived here on and off for 44years. Love the fact that we are so central to Parramatta, the city, the shire etc. without traffic congestion and pollution. Plenty of variety re eating out - Thai, Chinese, Italian and many more are within 5 mins drive. 4 great schools and 3 very friendly and welcoming clubs are within walking distance. If its a quiet safe family atmosphere you want then this is the place.

"Not good at all"
Sefton is sort of good, because schools are every where but there have been numerous break ins in Sefton. It's not a good place to live, not recommended.
