"Great Little Place"
Some of the best beaches in Tasmania for swimming and beach combing. Shearwater offers alot. Some houses have views, some have small yards and all are close to the walking/bike tracks that go from Hawley to Port Sorell, awesome for families or a Sunday stroll.
With the Woolworths shopping complex and an IGA in the village centre at Shearwater along with a heap of other stores and some great cafes in the area this beachside neighbourhood really does have it all. The local community has recently revamped the Shearwater Village and it looks fabulous - a real credit to the volunteers.
There is a Primary School and buses for the local High Schools and a medical centre as well, along with a golf club and country club.
