"What more could you want"
A little piece of paradise in Adelaide. You are at one of Adelaide's safest and cleanest beaches, within walking distance of Glenelg and its nightlife, restaurants and shopping and yet it is the quietest and most peaceful spots that I have ever lived.
Being able to use Anzac Highway I can get into the city within 15 minutes and yet walk to the beach in seconds or Glenelg in minutes.
The homes here are also built on a sandy soil and therefore the problems of rising damp and internal cracking that I encountered elsewhere in Adelaide are not an issue.
I have lived in various parts of Adelaide including the hills and parts of the eastern suburbs and nothing else compares with what I have here now :)

"Not for me"
I lived in college street for about 2 years and for me it wasn't that great to be honest, neighbours pretty much keep to themselves not much community spirit i thought.
It was however close to glenelg which has lots of eateries and nightlife unlike somerton park which doesn't have that much to choose from. Also their seems to be alot of hoons that like to skid around the area with their hotted up cars which i didn't like to much being a cyclist who rides to work everyday. But over all it was ok but not for me.

"Playing beach side"
Located just 15 minutes to the city, and from many spots, walking distance to the gorgeous beaches at Somerton, Glenelg, Brighton and Hove. Supported by the local High School, Brighton Secondary School. Many local Primary Schools inlcude Brighton Primary, Paringa Primary, Glenelg Primary. Many of the schools are zoned.
With loads of local shopping, including Jetty Road, Glenelg, Jetty Road, Brighton, and just 5 minutes away from Marion Shopping Centre.
Developments in Somerton Park over the recent years have seen many new homes come up in the area, creating a higher demand for land.
