"Great place, beautiful lake views and generally nice people"
Fantastic place,10-20 minute walk)depening on where in speers point you live) into warners bay shops and cafes etc. Most houses have beautiful lake views and fantastic sporting teams as well.No schools in speers point but 3 in warners bay which is less than a 5 minute drive. nicer place than warners bay,i recently moved from warners bay to speers point and although i often go into warners bay for convenience stuff i prefer speers point to live.
Great for
- Beautiful lake
- Walking distance to warners bay centr and short drive into newcastle
- Great sporting teams
Not great for
- No nightlife/nightclubs etc
- No police/fire services. (generally don't need police though because it is a very safe place)
- Can get a little boring,but its a short drive to pretty much anywhere
