Reviews of Tottenham, NSW
"Happyas"
I moved to Tottenham 22 years ago. Within a few months it occurred to me this was ( and still is ) a town that really stands up for its self through its people. Any number of committees around town working towards making it a better place to live. We have a great school ,18 hole golf course, bowling club with two greens, town swimming pool,a thriving hotel, supermarket, 24 fuel rural supplies , mechanic shop, hospital and ambulance. I raised my two children in Tottenham and i feel lucky to have had them grow up here.

"Tiny town with a big heart"
Tottenham is the closest point to the geographical centre of NSW. This great little community is a fair way from other towns but that's ok because Tottenham has just about everything you need anyway. Some specialist services you need to travel to larger centres, if you don't drive that's ok, someone will take you there in either the community car or a friendly neighbour will get you there. Town facilities include a spotless hospital and nursing home, medical centre, physiotherapy, ambulance station, supermarket, Cafe, caravan park, hotel, rural & fuel supplies, mechanical services, post office, banking, swimming pool, hotel, bowling club, golf club, large scale grain handling facilities, well equipped park and town hall that hosts many great events, a strong council support network. Tottenham has a number of sporting groups - soccer, tennis, squash, golf, bowls, horse-racing, pony club, motor Cross, clay target shooting, cycling, dance and pound exercise classes. Social groups - lions club, Rural youth, bingo, CWA, men's shed,(hope I haven't missed any), then there are the community groups looking after our citizens - health council, welfare council, hospital auxiliary, seniors day care. Town events include races which attracts a huge crowd each year, gymkhana, centre track motor cross, flower show, memorial bowls day, golf tournament. It's a 30 minute drive to the cairn that marks the centre of NSW, road can be a bit dusty but it's all part of the adventure. All in all, if you can't be happy in Tottenham then you probably won't be happy anywhere. Come say hello and see for yourself.

"A beautiful community"
I grew up in Tottenham and the town and people are nothing but caring, generous people. The town is gorgeous and the shops and amenities are always so beautifully kept. If anyone is considering moving or visiting Tottenham please go see it for yourself instead of reading one persons bad review!

"Fantastic small town"
We moved to Tottenham after buying a business and home there, bringing with us a family of 3 children. Our youngest was only 5 months old at the time and required regular medical treatment and special foods. I could not complain one iota about the support I received and the trouble people went to too ensure I had regular dietary needs for him as well as medical treatment.
The two older children went to Tottenham Central school where both were accepted and flourished in the small schools environment.
Over the years I also was involved in other businesses which were supported by the community in general.
My kids grew up in a community that looked out for each other. They were safe and had many friends. It was always an enjoyment to wake up of a morning to find ‘extras’ who had slept over.
Though we’ve moved from Tottenham now I still consider it one of the best if not the best place I have e ever lived. I continue to visit occasionally and maintain contact with a number of friends we made during our years there.
I truly recommend Tottenham as a great place to live, rare your children, enjoy good education and medical services, find every sport you wish to participate in, a great Lions Club that supports the community and much more.
Take a trip out and stay a few days and get to see what is on offer………you won’t be disappointed.

"Azure Skies and Brilliant Sun"
I was raised on a farm west of Tottenham and lived there until I was 17 . My sister and I completed the majority of our schooling at the central school . Because my parents and grandparents lived near Tottenham I have moved back twice in my adult life. The community was always warm and welcoming every time I reappeared . The health facilities are absolutely amazing considering the isolation ( I was very ill when I moved home the second time and needed weekly medical attention and support ) . As my elderly grandmother hit her nineties she was supported not only by the health and nursing staff but by the local community as well.
The town looks amazing and it has won many tidy town awards . The townsfolk have genuine pride in how the place looks . My grandparents are both now buried in the local cemetery and I am always impressed when I visit home at how well the council keeps the cemetery looking so neat - it even has a toilet for mourners !
Tottenham is a little golden nugget of a town and it has that small town community feel that is disappearing in today’s age - you just don’t get that in the bigger towns and cities anymore.

"Fantastic town, friendly helpful community 🌻"
We bought a rental property in Tottenham without knowing a soul in town. We spent 2 weeks there renovating and we were delighted at the number of folks that called in said hello & invited us over for coffee. The retired plumber came over, leant us his tools and advised us how to fix a problem we had in the kitchen. We've had the same tenant for over 4 years and we keep in touch with 4 of the locals we met. I think it's a wonderful town with wonderful community minded & helpful people.

"Tottenham"
I’m born & raised in Tottenham. My family & relatives still live there. I plan on retiring to Tottenham. It’s a great little town where people are community minded, friendly, supportive & if someone needs help all they need do is ask. I’ve never seen anyone run out of town yet. I’ve lived in towns all over Australia, drive trucks interstate for a living & totty is great. I miss “home” as I call it. I’ve lived in capital cities so give me a small town. What a miserable person who probably never took the time to get to know people or fit in. I’m looking forward to my retirement to return to my place of birth for a quiet life.

"Tottenham NSW 2873"
Tottenham is a small town in the centre of NSW. I grew up in Tottenham. You do have to at time make your own entertainment. But if you want to know anything just go into the hotel, cafe, IGA, Post office. Bowling Club Golf Club, Tourist information centre and ask the question. The locals will be more than happy to talk with you and let you know of things you can see and do. I give Tottenham a 5 out of 5.
